PetNotes publishes everyday care notes for people who live with dogs and cats. We focus on routines you can actually run at home: crate timing, food-label reading, slow introductions, nail trims with treats, indoor play on a Tuesday night.
What we write
Clear steps. Specific times. Treat counts. Ages and stages when they matter. We prefer “feed breakfast, wait 20 minutes, then a 10-minute walk” over vague pep talks.
We also write about the boring middle of pet life — shedding seasons, counter surfing, a second cat moving in — because that is where most households spend their energy.
What we do not write
We do not diagnose disease. We do not promise cures. We do not claim a single product or herb “fixes everything.”
If a note touches on stress, appetite, limping, or other symptoms, we will nudge you toward a veterinarian when the issue persists or feels urgent. That is not a disclaimer we paste once and forget; it is editorial policy.
Editorial standards
- English only, written for adults who want practical help
- Claims stay at the level of home habits and training mechanics
- Internal links point to other PetNotes articles when useful
- We revise notes when routines or product-label norms change
PetNotes is an independent editorial brand. We are not a veterinary clinic, shelter, or product storefront.
